Your First Job

My name is Cody and I just got my first job. Before I took the job, I got a number of incredible offers (a couple with $100k per year potential) and I turned them down. I don't have an MBA or PhD. I've never had a 'real job' before. And I just graduated. With a degree in Journalism. Talk about a useless degree these days.
 
Why would I turn down one great job, let alone a number of great jobs? All of the jobs I declined had the same thing in common, they were stable and easy. They were jobs where I would be a cog in the wheel. They right the right first job for me. That's what happens when you have multiple job offers, you have a choice. Wouldn't it be great if you could have that kind of choice? Don't you wish you could choose exactly where you wanted to work instead of just hoping to get a job...somewhere?
 
Well my new second job is to teach you how to get your first job. I'm going to teach you the tricks and secrets I used to get offered multiple jobs, all with amazing potential. They're the secrets that left me with three job offers in Southern California (yes, in a city where 10,000 mortgage brokers were laid off shortly before I came to town, talk about some serious competition). The same secrets that let me play all three companies against each other to get hired quickly and for better terms than I should have gotten. I'll tell you more of my story, like how I got all of my job offers in under a month, later but for now let's just get started.
